Canon DLC: Brooklynphono Series

I had the pleasure of working with the Canon Digital Learning Center and Jem Schofield on a series with the Canon C300 MKII. We shot a short documentary about Brooklynphono in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, and broke down working with the C300 MKII in a documentary environment.

Check out the entire series here.

Hi Matt. I just watched your first episode of the Brooklynphono, how to build the camera up. The system from Arri looks nice and I was wondering how you were attaching the Gratical to the top plate? I am looking to buy the gratical eye for my C300MK2 and would like to buy the top plate and handle from Arri as well.. Also how do you mount the clam shell from Canon to this system?

      Hi,
Thanks for checking out the Brooklyn Phono series! The best way to mount an EVF to any top cheese plate is with a top handle that has a 15mm rod port on it. Here is one option from Wooden Camera: https://www.woodencamera.com/top-handle-v2-p/263300.htm. You can then either mount the LCD unit on the top handle itself, or mount it off any cold shoe elsewhere. Hope that helps.
